Soundwave>Series artists Stefan Smulovitz and Viviane Houle perform at 2 shows at the 2007 PuSH International Performing Arts Festival in Vancouver, Canada. The PuSh International Performing Arts Festivall presents acclaimed local, national, and international artists and their work expanding the horizons of audiences and artists with work that is visionary, genre-bending, startling and original.

Projections - Music meets video in this evening of interdisciplinary collaboration, featuring a newly commissioned score by George Lewis for Kate Craig's Mary Lou; (The Rest is Missing), a collaboration between visual artists Hadley+Maxwell and composer Stefan Smulovitz; and Bill Viola's breathtaking visual accompaniment to Edgar Varese's Deserts. Music performed by the Turning Point Ensemble.

La Belle et la Bette (Beauty & the Beast) : Vancouver's Eye of Newt ensemble are joined by American jazz legend Wayne Horvitz to perform an original score to Jean Cocteau's eye-popping cinematic masterpiece, a pioneering work of surrealism. Eye of Newt is: Stefan Smulovitz - viola, waterphone, Francois Houle - clarinet, Viviane Houle - voice, Jesse Zubot - violin.
